You may see how much memory R‑Studio for Linux uses while performing a data recovery task. This is especially useful when scanning large disks on a computer with limited resources. You may specify memory control options on the Memory usage tab in the R‑Studio for Linux Settings
To view memory usage,

Process Memory |
Shows how much memory R‑Studio for Linux uses. Limit shows how much memory your system can virtually allocate to R‑Studio for Linux . Actual memory allocation depends also on the RAM and swap file sizes. |
System Memory Physical |
Shows how much RAM is in your system |
System Memory Swap |
Shows how much virtual memory is in your system |
